Three ways to cast your ballot
On Election Day. Monday, October 19, 2026, 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. You must vote at your assigned location.
Vote early (advance). Advance voting runs Tuesday, October 13 to Saturday, October 17, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
By mail (special ballot). Apply for a special ballot — no reason required. Confirm deadlines on Elections Alberta’s site.
Find Question 7 and mark YES
At the polls you’ll be handed several separate, numbered, colour-coded ballots. The one this campaign is about is Question 7. Look for the number 7, and mark YES.
Do you support the Government of Alberta working with the governments of other willing provinces to amend the Canadian Constitution to abolish the unelected federal Senate?
Mark YES. Vote whatever your conscience tells you on the other questions — they’re separate ballots.
